The cease of apartheid in South Africa promised new wave of opportunity and positivity nationwide. Yet one Pretorian suburb in particular, Laudium, was left behind as investment and talent quickly upped to more affluent areas of the country. Over ten years on, what remains in Laudium is an ever-growing cycle of crime for the residents of Laudium after it was turned it into a hotspot for robbery, drug abuse, and murder.
