New Curricula for Everyone : Machine Learning and IoT for Beginners
We are pleased to announce the launch of two new multi-week, multi-lesson, multi-quiz curricula all about classic Machine Learning and IoT. This new content includes lessons, knowledge checks, challenges, reading lists, assignments, quizzes, infographics, sketchnotes and art, and more. Machine Learning for Beginners and IoT for Beginners are the latest in our series of total curricula, offered unloosen on GitHub, with pathways to Microsoft Learn.

Jen Looper is a Google Developer Expert and a Cloud Developer Advocate Lead at Microsoft on the Next Generation Team with over 20 years’ experience as a web and mobile developer, specializing in creating cross-platform mobile and web apps. She’s a multilingual multiculturalist with a passion for hardware niaganis, mobile apps, Vue.js, applied machine learning and discovering new things every day. With a PhD in medieval French literature, Jen’s area of focus is curriculum evolution to applied sound pedagogy to technical topics. Jim does things with IoT and Azure in the Developer Relations team at Microsoft, mainly creating content for students and faculty to aid them be successful with Microsoft technologies. He’s British, so sounds way smarter than he actually is, and is happy he moved to Redmond in time to be locked downward at place and not see the office he came to work in, or the places he wanted to visit. In the past he’s lived in 4 continents working as a developer in the mobile, desktop, and scientific space. He’s spoken at conferences and events all around the globe, organised meetup groups and communities, and written a book on mobile evolution.
