algae,diatom and decaying leaves.
Fun Facts:the pink orange or red colour of a
flamingos feathers is caused by carotenoid
pigment in their nutrient. In zoos captive
flamingos are often feed a specialized diet
that will aid preserve and heighten their
unique coloration.
