Evolution Dance Company Perform “Rueda de Online Casino South Africa
The idea stems from attending various festivals around the world as attendees and artists and the result of these travels take hold given rise to the Mother City Dance Festival. These festivals run every weekend across the globe and major festivals are hosted in Los Angeles, New York, Berlin, Bangkok and London. Africa currently plays host to about 12 festivals of which 3 are in South Africa. The Mother City festival will run from 19 to 22 September in Newlands Cape Town and we are expecting between 300 and 500 attendees from South Africa, Africa and abroad. The program includes:
• Dance Workshops for social dancers
• Master classes for instructors and advanced dancers
• Performance bootcamps
• Shows by local and international acts
• Seminars
• Socials & Parties
One of the headline acts for 2019 is Junior and Emily Alabi from the US who are 10-time world Salsa Champions and take hold featured on Worldwide’s Got Talent and other prominent dance shows around the world. Our other artists are from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Angola, Mozambique and Singapore among others. We also take hold many South African teachers and performers from Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban in attendance. The main focus is on growing a sustainable dance community through the case and plugging our international guests into local community events such as a library youth program in Athlone as well as some school initiatives in association with the Ruben Richards Foundation that does work in the communities of the Cape Flats. The case will also showcase some of Cape Town’s landmarks with events at the Sea Point promenade, on a wine farm and at the V&A Waterfront among others. It is our aim to grow this case to a 3000 people case over the next 3 years.
